Premiers design team are second to none. They have a wealth of specialised knowledge built up over many years. We offer a unique opportunity for designers to engage with a total service provider. Our approach is one of working in partnership with main contractors, end users, architects and structural engineers to building a clear understanding of our customers objectives.
We produce detailed AutoCAD drawings taking into account the latest Building regulations, DDA requirements and British Standards.

Bespoke working designs are provided along with fabricated samples for approval. If necessary we can also provide structural calculations to accompany our designs.
Our team will also carry out a full dimensional site survey to establish details of interface between the structure and our products. We are extremely proactive in our approach to design and specialise in problem solving. We will identify any potential issues and put forward cost effective solutions to overcome them.
Site installation
At Premier our number one priority is health and safety. This is especially important in an on site environment where there are more potential hazards and conditions are more difficult to control. Every one of our on site teams have job specific CSCS cards. They are also trained in more specialised fields such as:
- PASMA - mobile scaffold tower erection
- SSST – Site safety supervisors training
- NTC - abrasive wheel training
- IPAF – Scissor lift/MEWP training
- IPAF – Harness training.
- CITB – 2 day site supervisor course
Our site teams are directly employed and have been with us for many years. This ensures reliability, flexibility, and quality. Our teams abilities cover items from large steel stair structures through to tig welding and polishing of finer items in stainless steel. We provide job specific Method statements and risk assessments to ensure safe working practice is undertaken in all situations.
Manufacture
At our purpose built modern factory we have an experienced and highly skilled workforce. Their abilities enable us to turn around large quantities of extremely high quality metalwork to very short deadlines. Our facilities cover a multitude of disciplines:
- Tig, Mig and Arc welding
- Milling stations
- Overhead 2 tonne crane
- Spray painting booth
- Stainless steel polishing shop
- CNC breakpress
- Guillotine
We have long standing relationships with many specialist companies that provide services of the highest quality to complement the products we manufacture.
These include:
- timber suppliers for stair treads and handrails
- Glass suppliers for stair treads, balustrade and canopies
- Specialized finishes such as powder coating, nylon coating, shot blasting and hot zinc metal spraying
- Industrial long lasting finishes like hot dip galvanizing
- Specialist section benders for the curving of steel sections
- Laser jet cutting for special profiles
- PVC Marley type capping for handrails
